ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Steve Lusher. Welcome to my online portfolio. I am a freelance graphic designer and graduate student living in Wilmington, NC.
Since the fall of 2010 I have been working towards a Master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology at West Virginia University. I graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, WV in May of 2010 with a multidisciplinary Bachelor's degree derived from undergraduate work in Political Science, History, and Visual Communications. Prior to that I received an Associate's degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Web Development.
I am fascinated by the theory and practice of visual communication and design with the ultimate goal of providing the best possible user experience in both web and print design solutions. Technologically speaking, I work primarily with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. In addition to these I am proficient in a variety of web and programming languages like HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and Javascript.
I currently specialize in working for small businesses and non-profit organizations, although I am interested in all types of projects.
